Question Zx-6r Vs Zzr600

Currently I have an '06 Ninja 500R (since Nov. '07), but I am hoping to sell it this summer and use the money to put a down payment on a new loan for a 600!
I want opinions, facts, and experiences. What are the main differences in body, style, and power? The main thing is that I'm sick of is choking/carburetion, and running like crap or dying in the cold of winter.
Help me out! I've only been riding for about 15 months and am not super experienced in all the technicalities.

Well, to begin with, the ZZR600 is carbureted and the ZX6R is fuel injected. Based on your comments, I'd say your decision is made. The ZZR is more of a comfort machine, better ergonomics. The ZX is more of a track duty bike...not the most comfortable on long rides, but the suspension, handling, and power delivery are much better. The ZZR's cost less, but will be harder to tune. It all depends on what you want to do with it.

Thanks for the info green. Yeah I'm just lookin for an upgrade with alot of power, sick handling, and MOST OF ALL, Fuel Injection. Carberation is my biggest, and one of my only dislikes of my 500R.

Says it all right there...it looks like you are looking for a ZX6R this summer. Bonus: it's lighter and holds its resale value a little better.

the zzr is an 02 zx6r with bar risers. good bike none the less but again i had a 99 zx6r that was carbed (practically the same as the 02) and now i have an 07 that's efi. i'll never buy a carbed bike again. but if you're looking for at least a little comfort i'd go with an 04-06 636. they're more tolerable on trips than my 07 but the 07-08's ride like they're on rails but are very top heavy on power delivery unlike the 636's. i don't know about the 09's yet but from what i am reading they have the power delivery closer to the 636's and are lighter and more nimble than the 07-8. i want one but i think the wife would shoot me since i have a boat.

Now that brings up another question. Are 636's FI or carbed? I would assume they are FI, but I don't know for sure. That extra 37cc's is definitely a plus though! And they look freakin' bad *** too with a slightly different body style from the zx6r's.
